Who We Are

The Shelby County Drug/Alcohol Advisory Council, Inc. is a non-profit organization doing business as Shelby Prevention. We are a coalition of community volunteers- parents, students, local government, healthcare, education, social services, media, law enforcement, faith community, and more- that work together to provide programs, activities, and community projects for the purpose of building a drug-free community, healthy families and safe schools.

Shelby Prevention envisions the involvement of every community member working together to create and maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Our Mission

Shelby Prevention seeks to promote, educate and provide programs, projects and strategies that target youth and adults in support of a drug-free environment in Shelby County.
